Buckhead, Atlanta · Founder-led since 2011

Your child has something to say.
We make sure the world hears it.

Founded in 2011 by Heather Hamilton, M.S., CCC-SLP, TALK is Atlanta’s boutique speech and language practice for children and adults.

Seasoned, master’s-level CCC-SLP clinicians only. Measurable progress. Genuine coordination with your child’s school, psychologist, and pediatrician, from first sounds to school-age language, apraxia, stuttering, and the myofunctional work Atlanta orthodontists refer to us by name.

A private-pay practice: your child’s plan is set by clinicians, never by an insurance company. How our model works →

You’ve noticed something. Or someone else has.

Maybe a teacher raised it at conference. Maybe a psychoeducational evaluation ended with “a comprehensive speech-language evaluation is recommended.” Maybe your two-year-old still isn’t talking and “wait and see” has stopped feeling like a plan. Or maybe your child came home and said, “I’m not smart,” and you know that isn’t true.

This is what we do all day, every day: find exactly what’s in your child’s way, explain it in plain language, and remove it, with therapy your child genuinely looks forward to.

Bringing a psychologist’s report?

Many of our families arrive with a psychoeducational or neuropsychological evaluation in hand. We read every page, pick up exactly where it left off, and coordinate with your psychologist, so the testing your family already invested in keeps working for you.

How we help

Every child begins with a comprehensive evaluation and a plan built around exactly what the evaluation found. Sessions happen at our Buckhead office, on campus at several of Atlanta’s independent schools, or by teletherapy anywhere in the world.

Email us at 9pm.
It’s handled by breakfast.

Cancellations and rescheduling, superbills, records for schools and psychologists, intake paperwork: our front office handles them within hours, whatever the hour, any day of the week. Reach us when life actually allows, after bedtime, between meetings, on a Sunday.

From our families

Among the families here: Atlanta physicians, therapists, and teachers who chose TALK for their own children.

“After a year of conventional speech therapy with no meaningful progress, someone recommended Heather's practice to us and we haven't looked back since. Our son was ultimately diagnosed with severe-profound childhood apraxia of speech. Heather not only has the experience and specialty training that our son needs, but she is also incredibly kind and committed.”

“Our daughter's speech articulation has improved by leaps and bounds. Heather's years of experience show in her calm, warm, creative interactions, an inexhaustible supply of games and fun techniques, and she always takes the time after each session to explain what she has observed and how we can help practice.”
Allan T., Google review
“I appreciate her methodical approach and patience. The learning plan she created was a great resource to share with my daughter's teachers. We are so happy we found TALK!”
